Modular wood pavilion. Cerdanya, Pyrenees Back to the portfolio

The proposal for the wood pavilion is to recognize the sequence of the existing area, due to the flatness of the topography of the place. The building takes advantage of the local industry and get materialized as a similar wood volumes. The pavilion was designed as a net of small scale units, a repetition of modules that make the design and construction more efficient, getting a passive construction combining maximum interior comfort with very low environmental impact. The building configures an entry’s place, an exterior agora from which recognizes the main entrance. In the interior we find an open space area, connecting the
functions as the different exhibition areas. The different areas are delimited with tacit limits that guide the visitor inside the space.
